Kalafatis beach Mykonos Island Greece

Games in the sea.

In the east part of island,12 kilometers away from the center with easy access by car or boat from Platys Gialos is Kalafatis beach. Beautiful, big but less organized beach with beach-bar and restaurants. There is also a bus from the center of Mykonos to Kalafatis beach with less routes during  the day.

P.S. Don’t hesitate to try banana, Jet Ski, water ski, extreme tubes and wakeboard.

One of the earliest established beaches, this beautiful bay and long sweeping Kalafatis beach has become famous to wind surfers who enjoy a good offshore breeze. Budget Hotels Accommodations and private rooms studios and apartments for rent are all available for tourists at this Beach.

Hotels accommodation is available together with various water sports including diving with access to the beach made easy from town through a regular bus service. Many small restaurants can be found in the area often specializing in local seafood dishes. KALAFATIS is a family beach that runs into the sands at Tsarna. A lovely bay with white sands spread out on either side of a narrow rocky headland. A huge holiday hotel complex dominates the beach but for once the design blends in well with the scenery. Clear waters make for fine swimming and you can catch boats here for DRAGONISI an islet off the east coast which has many caves, some of which are said to be populated by the rare monk seal though don"t hold your breath looking for one.
